Kakadu

After several more days we are now in Jabiru in Kakadu. Things never stop being interested, Mark had a crash on his bike at Katherine and ended up in hospital overnight with cuts, abrasions & a brain contusion.

We had to get out of the caravan park and ended up camping in the hospital carpark overnight, awaiting Marks' release. On arrival at our first Kakadu camp we joined up with Dean, who is Sue's ex brother in law so we now have 3 vans. we have all loved Kakadu & tomorrow we head off on the yellow waters cruise. Biggest lot of pictures to go up yet.

I have done a really great drone video at Couzens, Kakadu as yet raw video but I will edit and publish as soon as possible.

Dean joined us at Mary river, Kakadu.

There are now 4 of us at camp Couzens.

Mary river, plenty of crocs here.

Couzens camp from the drone.

Mary River.

Heading North through Adelaide river it looked dark & ominous ahead, but it cleared away.

It got kind of dusty on the way into Couzens.

Driving to Couzens.

Sue & Dean planning our next move.

I took this pic right where a croc had been resting a couple of minutes before.

A very uneven camp, needed a lot of jacking.

Predawn.

Can you see it ?

The 3 of us leaving Couzens.

Singing along is how I spend most of my time driving alone.

A fairly uneventful few days getting home and then the sad feeling of not being on the road any more. A few pics of some places on the last...
